As the band jammed into Love Light I watched Joan (aka Donna Jr.) come out. She was bundled up pretty good as it was cold. But before she tore into her first lyrics she had pealed down to her T-shirt. I took this as symbol of a hot show to come. And it sure as hell was. Listen to the jam at about 4 minutes into Doin' That Rag. To me that sums up the night. Real good playing all around. While no Jimmy or Warren, this is a great band, very fluid and from a few rows back it seemed to me (what the hell do I know) that Phil was real relaxed. China Cat, Scarlett > Fire, Cats  man! And that is just Set One. I am sucker for HeÂs Gone and Terrapin, so I was real happy with the second set. New Potato, what a great treat. Gimme Shelter is my favorite Stones song and the band did a good job of (JoanÂs voice really fits it IMHO) so that was a real highlight. This is a good recording. Sure as hell is no Betty SBD, but I guess those days are gone.
